A new year brings new beginnings and with it, an opportunity to recommit to what matters most: our health, our families, and our communities.

As we welcome the year ahead, we do so with hope, purpose, and a renewed commitment to brain health for all Illinois families. Alzheimer’s disease continues to impact millions of individuals and caregivers across our state, but together, we are working toward a future filled with greater awareness, stronger support systems, and meaningful progress. Through a grant provided by the Illinois Department of Public Health, Sarabella and the Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter are stepping into the year…

Research shows that healthy habits—such as staying physically active, eating well, managing chronic conditions, and staying socially and mentally engaged—can help support cognitive health as we age. In the year ahead, we encourage individuals and families to take small, meaningful steps toward healthier lifestyles while staying informed and connected.

At the same time, we remain deeply committed to supporting caregivers, advancing research, and advocating for policies that improve care and outcomes for those living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Progress happens when communities come together. As we move forward into this new year, we do so united by a shared mission: to create a healthier future and move closer to a world without Alzheimer’s.

Here’s to a year of:

  • 💛 Healthier habits

  • 🤍 Stronger communities

  • 💜 Continued progress and hope
